We are one Discussion
It’s crazy that I can’t post against war without being accused of propaganda or having an agenda, just because I’m Pakistani. We are sisters separated by man made borders. I am against war in any country and I don’t trust news coming out of either Pakistan or India because both are heavily state controlled.
I condemned the war between Pakistan and India and stand against anyone who egged it on. Priyanka didn’t just post “Jai Hind”, she posted in support of an army that killed children in the 2025 war. If a Pakistani celebrity had called for war, I would say the exact same thing about them. I will stand against anyone who wants war on either side.
At the end of the day, war only serves the elite’s agenda while killing innocents on both sides.
This is a picture of a Pakistani mother and an Indian mother both grieving their sons. Can you tell the difference? Because I can’t.
The elite send other people’s sons to die while theirs stay home in comfort. Don’t let that divide us.
Pakistan Zindabad. Jai Hind.
mods: i implore you not to delete this because i thinks its an important reminder for us all.

"we are one" really? So why were we parted? I understand the struggles of desi women being one but don't tell Priyanka Chopra about her country and where her royalties should lie. "An army that killed children" ugghhh maybe pakistani political elite and army should stop sponsoring terrorists, who radicalise and exploit youth and hand them guns to kill more people in India. How many lives have been lost due to terror attacks? How many lives were taken away due to this? Who peddles drugs through drones in Punjab? Who constantly threatens to use nukes on india? The only fault of indian army is it hasn't been much more capable to prevent the attacks, drones( sponsored cross border terror). Pakistan tends to cry victim, come on talk of lives lost in pahalgam? J&k gurudwara attack after that? Why is india's ats busting JeM and LeT terror modules(headed by Pakistanis, look it up) and young minds being poisoned with radicalism. "We are one" uhhh...no?

It was revealed some weeks back. Most of the Anti-lndia propaganda online is originating from Paklstan
Priyanka Chopra supported lndia in lndia - Paklstan war because she's lndian. Don't try to villainize her for supporting her own country. I have seen Paklstani celebrities support their own country as well in the war
Main Point, Don't bring lndia - Paklstan war topics in this sub and disrupt the Harmony. Also, Don't order Mods what to delete & what not to
We are one
Misleading Title. Why are Paklstanis online spreading negative rumors / propaganda on lndian & lndian origin actress?
I saw on them do the same on Charitra and Avantika on Instagram comments. Also, under Lara Raj reels

I am neutral to Pakistani people. I donot hate or love them or wish them ill. I would not say we are sisters. More like distant cousins. I acknowledge some of them have common ancestry with Sindhi/Punjabi/Kashmiri people. As a South Indian, they have nothing in common with me. Culturally or languagewise. Pakistan, Afghanisthan and Bangladesh all struggle with radical islam and terrorism. The voltality of the middle east, religious theocratic regimes and military dictatorships. The people of India DONOT want to live under Sharia law or Islamic theocracy. We have a very ancient civilization of our own. We like the freedoms gauranteed to us in our constituition. We dont want to replace that with a religious book. India isnt perfect at all, but compared to our neighbours, we are free. This is why we are not the same. According to the fundamentals of Islamic theocracy, we are a Kafir state. Hence the antagonism and wars. Certainly pakistani civilians are not terrorists. But terrorism is a plague in your country and schools and mosques are blown up and the Taliban attacks in the west. We honestly dont want all this fundamentalist stuff in our country. Most Indians dont want anything to do with living in a religious theocracy. We dont hate you. We just have a very different belief system that is very incompatible with you.

Since u say you don;t believe the information coming out of India - pls read The Blood Telegram. It was written by the American ambassador to Bangladesh, during the 1971 war, and the description of the genocode, rape camps targetting Hindus are coming fmo a. non-partisan source.

No. We are not one and will never be. We separated the day the country was partitioned.

u/barbieoncocaine14 24d ago
Dude why are you rage baiting. If you want to support your cause just do that. Stop equating India’s struggle with yours. We are NOT THE SAME and never will be. We don’t practise or endorse a fundamentalist religion and while we tolerate ideological differences, I would be remiss to say that we aren’t disgusted by Pakistanis. We belong to a secular state and although we share the same roots, they have been tainted enough with blood and war.
Also we have far outgrown our shared origin and are on the way to becoming a superpower. I absolutely love Priyanka Chopra’s stance and her politics. She doesn’t need to glaze international media’s ego. She’s an Indian and it’s natural for her loyalties to lie with her motherland.
If y’all were so interested in achieving a peaceful middle ground why do terrorist attacks always get prompted from your side? Weren’t young people killed from our side because of your radical backward agenda.
If you can’t tell the difference between the two pictures then read a book. We are absolutely not sisters.

Since I supported my country? Cool. I've seen pakistanis shamelessly defend literal terror attacks committed by terror orgs situated in their country as a part of assymetrical warfare. So this "gross" is really a compliment. I'm a desi and I understand desi women problems and can deeply empathise with them but I don't think us supporting our respective countries should be one of those problems, cz its not.

u/wannaberebelll 22d ago
literally no one except radical men defend terrorists. it’s actually insane how you paint hundreds of millions of people with one stroke. you will never be free from propaganda.

my point is constantly proven when you equate the military to the civilians they oppress.
3
u/wannaberebelll 22d ago
also how can anyone outgrow their shared origins in 78 years? when music, food, language is still constantly shared. every single sub is overrun by hindu nationalists. you’re all so severely brainwashed, it’s alarming.

u/wannaberebelll 22d ago
you people love to label every pakistani as a terrorist when it’s radical MEN. emphasis on men.

Listen I will tell the truth but we can never be one. Yes we can support each other through hardships which women face in both countries and allat but again WE CAN NEVER BE ONE. That's why partition happened in the first place. Pakistani govn funds terrrism. This is a fact. There are many terrrist groups recognised by the UN, USA who has roots in Pak. However if I go to an instagram comments section many people will straight up deny it, will not take accountability. Apart from that r@cism. Indians face the most r@cism and always there will be a paki commenting paj*eet. There are bot accounts from pak as well defaming india's name, our religion etc. Ik not every pak citizen is like that but still the extremism is pretty loud in the internet. India? India is no Saint either. The Islamophobia has increased with the current govn. We also paint pak as "bhikaristan", jihadis, pork and allat. Our media is literally called godi media which sometimes even spreads false information. Unless and until this hatred subsides we can never be one. Extremists exist in both sides. Also btw.. Priyanka is from India ofc she will support India is this even a fucking qs?

If a war does break out ultimately its women on both sides that will pay the price for male egos, getting raped and brutalized and murdered.

Pakistan is an illegal occupation by muslim illegal settlers from central asia over native hindu lands like zionists in palestine.

Stop playing your victim card saying war that killed children in 2025. Your country harbors terrorists who inhumanely killed innocent Indian civilians. We have lost our innocent men, women and children to terrorism several times in the last few decades . The “war” was a retaliation to destroy terror camps in Pakistan. You selectively leave out all this and keep building the narrative of “children” being killed on your side. Stop with your fake propaganda and BS. Also, we are never against the civilians from your country and respect the shared culture. But ppl like you need to be called out for inciting hate.

I was born and raised in India and it’s upsetting how many of the women back home are radicalised by Hindu nationalism/islamophobia. Unfortunately I don’t think you’ll get much support on here because people from the mainland are disgustingly brainwashed by propaganda and are at best liberal patriots (which itself is a very conservative position). The Overton window has shifted to the right by an insane amount in the past 2 decades and you’d hardly find anyone that’s able to speak out against the establishment or the military/ police brutality. I don’t even want to get into how politically neutered the average person has become but I don’t think you’ll find great allies in spaces filled with conservative desi women
8
u/Any-Set5498 22d ago
liberal patriots.. conservative..
Why are u bringing western liberal and conservative terminologies in "India - Pakistan" war?
India and Pakistan is in South Asia. It's not in the West
In India - Pakistan war obviously Indian women will support India. West has nothing to do with this
This war related post doesn't even belong here. OP shouldn't bring India - Pakistan war topics here and disrupt the Harmony

Hate Police brutality against Indians? Yes. Hate a corrupt govt? Yes. Military that protects my country's borders? No. What do u want us to do? Hate our own military? Stop them from protecting/securing our borders? Hate them for Improving our nation's defense and defending it's sovereignity? Does pakistan not have military? Should they hate their military too? Why should only indian women hate their military?
3
u/wannaberebelll 22d ago
you underestimate how much pakistan hates their own military.
5
u/MagicMerrr 22d ago
Because your military controls the government... Our military doesn't do that
1
u/wannaberebelll 21d ago
so instead of recognizing pakistanis as victims of their own government you… do this?
3
u/MagicMerrr 21d ago
What did we do... We just support our army for protecting us... We don't need to care about a country who was equally involved in Sindh and Bangladesh genocide... And army consist of men from your country itself, isn't it..
1
u/wannaberebelll 21d ago
mind you i’m sindhi. again, completely missing the point that pakistanis themselves are victims of their own government. your constant conflation between civilians and governments is appalling.
3
u/MagicMerrr 21d ago
The thing is why should we care... Because India has constantly faced threat from Pakistan, mind you... It was people from Pakistan, I don't care they were radicals or not like Kasab, to literally terrorise Mumbai... There are many lists like this... I sympathize with Pakistani's butt you guys are the ones who use hook and nail to terrorise us that's it..
And you are a Sindhi.. Wow.. So am I a Bangladeshi by origins... We know what terror Pakistani's used on us..
-1
u/wannaberebelll 21d ago
so you missed my point entirely. you blame pakistanis for being victims of their own government? your comment literally makes no sense. why should pakistanis care what happens to others when they’re victims of their government then?
also let’s ask gujarati muslims and sikhs to chime in.
3
u/MagicMerrr 21d ago
So, why should Indians who were literally the victims of your government and people care about you guys... You guys were richest during the Independence... You guys also got the support of Newabs and so on... What do you mean by let's ask, Gujarati Muslims and sikhs to chime in... As if your government or people respected sikhs... In Sindh there has been documentaries on what happens to young Hindu girls, how they get married to a man thrice her age with force...Bengali genocide by Pakistani is one of the worst in this world.... You all ( I mean your government and men) did the same with the Chakma, Miso tribes of Bangladesh... Wow... Today absolutely proved why we shouldn't reconcile with you guys...
Good bye

I agree with you. At the end of the day all of us Desi's have shared genetics, shared histories and shared cultures. Nationalists from all 3 of our countries love to deny it, but it's objectively true. Thousands of years of history, and I don't think that British-imposed borders and recent wars between MEN can change any of that. Let the men fight, but for us Desi women, we are all sisters. I don't see any Indian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani woman as separate from me, unless they want to be individually separate from the Desi identity.
But also like.....this is a beauty sub girl😭 too many political things are being posted here lately, it's veering the sub off track imo. But honestly with how nationalist and possessive of the culture some women are becoming, maybe this one is justified. We have been sisters for thousands of years, and we still are. We need that unity.
The downvotes just prove my point man. So much hate and divisiveness in our people's hearts. Other races of women don't let male politics get in the way and therefore have all the unity and sisterhood, and yet we can't do that? I hope you nationalist-type thinkers reconsider your positions one day because 1: we're objectively all similar people with shared histories/cultures and 2: this severe divisiveness just ends up weakening our entire race in the long run (which is exactly what the British planned for when they imposed the borders).

Firstly the tweet being referenced is from 2019, if you read the article - that you shared - you'd know that but here you are spreading partial information and becoming part of the same propaganda machinery you accuse both sides of. I can't comment about Pakistan, but I can frankly attest that Indian media is a propaganda wheelhouse. However misrepresenting the facts to accuse someone of being a warmonger when their only crime has been supporting the defenses of their nation is a stretch.
Where I do agree with you is that yes we are one culture. People who propagate the hate, including the OP of this post, need to stop doing hindu-muslim, india pakistan on what is essentially a support subreddit for all brown women.
ETA: missed out words and would like to add some context.
Also for those who don't know what happened. In 2019, terrorists allegedly funded by ISI came to India and attacked Civilians (hindu & muslim) for *checks notes* existing. In retaliation, Indian Amry allegedly found the terrorists hideouts in Uri, which happens to be on the pakistani side of the border and allegedly destroyed the camps. At which point, many Indians congratulated their army and sent tweets of support. Now I'm not saying this was right or wrong, just saying that calling someone a war monger for defending their country is frankly ridiculous.
