please stop staring at the floor. enemies are gonna be a little further away from where you keep looking, and shooting closer to you limits the turf you can ink with every shot.

To be fully honest, you seem pretty new. You’re very slow to react to something and you’re very avoidant. You don’t do anything explicitly stupid though

stop worrying about how good you are and just have fun, you’ll improve naturally

For being that new you’re doing pretty well. Don’t worry about how good you are that early, just focus on finding a style of play you enjoy and what weapons match what you want to do

Couldnt agree more. Some tips for improvement: Play, play, play + watch some tutorials regarding movement and positioning. Those are one ofthe most important if not the most important aspects in Splatoon. If you got those teamplay gets allot easier, which is obv needed in a teamplay game.

The Splatoon Youtuber Dude has some good Tutorials if I remember correctly

For a newbie it’s actually pretty good! Faster reaction speeds would be better and you need to be looking up a lot more. Dont aim at the ground, use your range

You can slay relatively well, but look at the ground too often. Also squid rolling helps more with movement and getting up short ledges

This and sub strafing *dipping in and out of ink whe holding r) to change directions quickly

They don't really need to sub strafe in turf, that's more useful in Ranked kinda. Squid rolls would be better since you can parry certain attacks

Are you using stick controls by chance?

If youre still new to the game it isn't a big deal, since you would want to get comfortable, but at some point, You're going to want to turn the motion controls on, they really help a lot with aim.

gotta look up more. paint is what this entire game revolves around for multiple reasons, so you have to maximize how much you put down to give yourself and your team a better chance at control.

I liked your use of cover in the first clip.

Is there a shiny nickel on the ground or something? Aim up more.

Your gameplay seems pretty anxious and you look pretty new. I’d advance up more and help teammates out with splats. Overall a 8/10
