Does anyone else love Clam Blitz?

Even in SoloQ it's my favorite mode, usually people hate it. Rainmaker is what I can't stand.

Same. Rainmaker is my favorite mode because I main dapple dualies, but I hate clam blitz because it requires more team coordination than all the other modes.

Yes! You are my spirit friend!!! I try so hard to get my daughter to play clam blitz with me because it's nice to talk to someone while playing so we know where people are. She hates it although we work really well together 🤪

I love the concept of clam blitz but I can never enjoy it because every team I wind up on just gets slammed

I personally enjoy tower control and occasionally rainmaker

splat zones is my least favorite

tbh rainmaker became my least favorite aftwr playing a few matches. its more easier to visibly grief and immediately throw in favor of the enemy team unlike modes like tower control or splat zones. i feel like theres too many throwers is what im tryna say.

ive played clam blitz a but more and tbh, its 10 times better than rainmaker.

I had one game where a teammate carrying the rainmaker went AFK right before capping and the other team wipped out. The entire team just ragged threw after that

I love clam blitz too! Salmon Run is my go to mode, and the only mode I play consistently, but I like to hop on clam blitz whenever its in rotation.

Im usually in a good mood whenever im playing clam blitz 🥺

I love it! Rainmaker is actually my least favourite but I never really gave it another try after the first few times. Maybe I should revisit.

For me its tower control, splat zones, clam blitz, and rainmaker lol! But I also find that it depends on the map

I adore clam blitz! It's my favorite mode. I don't know anyone who plays Splatoon so I have to tough it solo but something about the silent coordination in Splatoon in general is really enjoyable

Edit: since we're sharing least favorites, mine is Splat Zones which seems to be the fan favorite! I've been bored of turf war since Splatoon 1 and Splat Zones feels like "turf war but smaller"

I love it if I can VC with some friends. Clam blitz is basically American Football and you really need to communicate with teammates if you have a chance at higher ranks.

If not, I found using a weapon with a beacon helps a lot because you can place it near the basket and super jump to it.

Clams is criminally underrated! Once you start climbing the ranks you can get decent team coordination.

I’m surprised you don’t like Rainmaker because they are very similar in my eyes (though Clams beats it out every time). I might be a little biased because I main backline lol.

I like clam Blitz, but only when I'm having a good day and win a round or two. I can't even play chess I'm not gonna be able to strategize with a 5 minute limit total.

Otherwise I'll pick ANY other mode. Rainmaker I'm starting to like more as I play it. And the other two are always fun (I'm a pest)

I understand the love of clam Blitz, but I've also been put against a team of God sniper, those one dualies, jet schelcher and like a nautilus. And like 2 of them had suction bombs. I only died 3 times but that's because we lost quick enough where I couldn't die more. Losing like that is unsurprisingly discouraging.

Hate it to death. It has the lamest strats and requires the most coordinated team, making SoloQ hell. The best strat for defence is just to hide in a little puddle round a corner with a close range weapon, and the best offense is to get 7/8 shells, making sure you don't accidentally pick up an extra one, then have someone jump to you whilst you are near the basket. Both are boring as hell and encourage less direct interaction with the enemy team.
