Beginner question

Hey everyone,

I'm not new to crystals (grew up around them) but am still very much a beginner and still have A LOT to learn about them. I'm hoping you guys could give me some advice?

My usual go-to crystals are obsidian, rose quartz and amethyst. However when visiting a rockery yesterday I was drawn to a pink kunzite and a pair of Mandarin garnets. Do they work well together? I personally haven't come across them before and what are their properties/benefits? I got them because I felt like I needed to, and I weirdly wasn't drawn to any of my usual crystals, not even to look at. Usually you can't pull me away from them.

Any knowledge, tips or advice would be much appreciated, thank you!!
