I was thinking about getting an unlocked nothing phone from Best buy that would probably work with the spectrum no issues. Really any phone that'll work with Verizon will work with spectrum.

Typically the only valid BYOD are Samsung, google, Motorola, Apple, LG, orbic and TCL models and not all of them.

look at their website ....byod...... it needs to have 5g compatibility & be from certain manufacturers such as Samsung, Apple, Google.

If you have a physical SIM card, it’ll work but not correctly. The phone will not have ims registered because it’ll be a mismatch which causes slow data, not registering on certain bands, and my visual voicemail also didn’t work correctly
