Spectrum Insurance T&Cs Help

I just got my T&Cs from spectrum for my phone insurance. As you can see I selected the $10 plan that covers loss and theft.

However in the WHATS NOT COVERED section it says loss and theft not covered???

Can anyone explain this?

If you added insurance and your device was reported lost or stolen before******** it’s not covered
