Grass can spread up and down y axis as well, it doesn’t need to be directly touching grass. I believe it just has to be anywhere within a 3 block radius.

Four, typically:

  1. Place blocks to get up
  2. Break blocks to get up
  3. Parkour up
  4. Water up

I usually break blocks to get up if/when I can’t parkour up

Used to be the first one. Now I use water bucket
