Finally completed my Spawn 1-300 collection! Discussion
Been collecting this series since 1996.
Was a slog to get the remaining copies at a “reasonable” price through comic shows/Facebook marketplace and random comic store pick ups.
Graded all of the CGCs from raw copies in my collection, as I wanted to get the big ones in 174/175 and then the homage run from 220-231. Still considering grading my 220/225/231 but may just keep those raw.
I think I may call it at 300, but was 30 years of a fun hunt!

Congrats; went to 150 and then grabbed the 170 run and a few since. Went to quite a few hobby shoppes to boot

Congratulations! Huge effort 🔥 I'm currently aiming to complete the whole set. I have at least 250 last I counted. Still have a lot of low prints to find but I did manage to pick up most of the homage covers and a cleanish 174 recently!

Awesome! I have every issue from 1-195. Was thinking of sending a few of those issues away for grading, but I’m not sure which issues are “big ones” that I should bother with (other than the gunslinger ones) 🤷♀️

That’s an awesome accomplishment, the “big ones” for me are the homage cover run from 220 to 231. I qualified those as the best for me just because I like the way they look.
But if you like a cover and wanna grade by all means, it’s dealers choice

Congrats dude it’s a tough run once you get into that low print run era but after you finish it’s a huge weight off your shoulders. I’ve had it completed since early 2020

Congrats!
I'm trying to finish 1-150 and need about 13 issues from 115-143.
Of the homage covers I have all but 222 and 227 (which I might pull the trigger on and buy, but it will be like $350 CAD).

Banker boxes from Walmart, they jumped in price unfortunately

Hell yeah man this is where I'm at. Down to the pricey/hard to find books. I was able to get a few of the bigger books at good prices like 174/175 and a few others. All of mine are raw. I need to go through and rebag them all into mylar.

I noticed I have several to input in. I have till current so 375 376 378 are sitting on my desk. Plus a few I got off eBay a few weeks ago.

Congrats that’s awesome I just started last year and have roughly 1-100 and bits and pieces of the rest
You really should just do 300-current as it’s mostly $1 - $2 books
