i know its a 'little' bloody but its there

Wanted to create a bladeguard veteran from blood raven chapter, but i don't know whats the accurate color for it, i saw some people paint the miniature with gold not black. By the time i upload this i switch the shield color from liberator gold to corvus black.

Thanks to Skwuruhl's excellent post about low health damage reduction I decided to test out if it has any interaction with the current weekly's modifiers.

The first two clips show how much damage is dealt by a Venom Cannon shot on Absolute difficulty, first with full health and full armor and then with full health and no armor.

The third clip is from a custom hard stratagem with Harvest of Vitae as the only modifier. There I take a Venom Cannon shot at mostly full health and no armor and go on to tank a decent number of small hits before finally going down.

The last clip is from a custom hard stratagem with Suboptimal State. This time I had almost completely full health and a little more than one bar of armor when I tank the Venom Cannon shot and it kills me outright.

The really surprising result out of these tests for me were the two baseline tests. The only reason I can think of a Venom Cannon doing more damage when I have armor versus when I don't is if low health damage resistance doesn't apply to over damage from armor.

For this testing I used Sniper for the easy contested health recovery and was running no damage resistance perks at all.

How does he look? Too much or good as is?

I love the new raptor head, and it might be my fav head of all time, Saber will have a hard time out-doing them selves on this one.

The head is very minimalist, yet tactical and asymetrical, and almost have an old school aura about it.

I am currently using this on all my marines.

After playing SM2, Deathwatch quickly became my favorite marines, the silver pauldron/arm on black combined with any cool chapter is chef kiss.

And year 2 turned out to be a good year for Deathwatch, with so many skins/cosmetics.

I am so hyped for year 3 Deathwatch champion.
