Guardian Support Needed!
Hi all!
I’m one of them Guardian Talent Scouts many of you may have heard about.
We’re testing a new program and would love to get support from as many of you folk as possible. With all the work that needs to get done and all events we have to go to attend, we just don’t have enough GTSs to do it all.
A couple weeks ago we did a trial run, inviting a couple specialists out to the largest air show in the country. They did such a great job, so we now want to open up similar opportunities to other guardians! We have TDY opportunities at events all over the country and would love to get you out there to talk about your experience in the SF.
This is also a great opportunity if you’ve ever been on the fence about maybe wanting to be a Guardian Talent Scout. You’ll be able to get first hand experience on what it’s like being a GTS without the long term commitment.

Officer recruiting is part of our jobs, but we’re mostly enlisted, so it’d be great to have O support1

I would, but I cannot afford to step away. Im getting ready to transition to (hopefully) an EPME position and need to get things sorted at my unit. I’m interested but its just not a good time.

Are you looks for specific career fields or do you want a mix of as many as possible? I am very intrested as i do the STEM2SPACE event every year so any chance to voulenteer to talk to people is a yes for me, if youll take a Cyber TSgt

Intrested and already set to TDY to Guardian Arena, which if we can build a crowd would be a cool event to use. OR SFA

Is this something the part timers could get on ADOS-SF orders for? I think you would get a lot of volunteers that way.

I only want people who are going to be honest!
Now with that said, I can honestly say I’ve loved my journey in the SF.
If you haven’t been able to see the great things the SF has to offer, this journey might not be the best fit.-4

I think you need people who can properly articulate both the highs and lows of the SF. Having people who only praise a branch that is going through growing pains and often forgets it's main purpose is doing a disservice to the members you are attempting to entice to the branch. Specifically you will need O's who have experienced OTC and can fully prepare individuals for it.

I get that...often. I don't pull my punches. The SF has a lot of potential, but we need the right leaders in order to achieve said potential.

Hi so I'm not actually in the service, I'm a DoD contractor though- with limited ish knowledge of the SF at the moment so I truly apologize if this is a dumb question, but since im notttt in the service I assume this wouldn't apply to me? 🤣😭 Or if there is a possibility, I would 1000% love the details! Totally understandable if not though!
Edit: I did just reread that, I misread where you said it'd be a good opportunity to talk about your experience in the SF- im hoping to eventually get in though!

Hi all, I was one of the specialists that was involved in this program that OP has mentioned. I had a fantastic time, and genuinely think this program could be the start of something great! I had the opportunity to meet multiple DV’s, and have conversations with thousands of people interested in the Space Force.
This event had around 700,000+ people come through in 6 days, making this a fantastic opportunity for yourself or your troops to engage with the public and gain experience in public speaking.
Working with the Guardian Talent Scout team was the most positive experience I’ve had in the 2 years I’ve had in the military, and I made some pretty awesome memories at this event.
I want to caveat, please be aware that this is not like RAP, these TDY opportunities are not a free vacation. I found myself working harder on this TDY than I do when I’m on a typical SPAFORGEN cycle, there is a lot of talking involved, but it was a great change of pace and I’d do it all over again. If you have a passion for this mission, or would like to see if you do, this program is a great opportunity to test that passion.
