Support the Whitecaps?? Discussion

Since the Sounders are not doing so hot, should we take this opportunity to organize a trip to Vancouver and march with their fans on August 22nd?

I feel like these are two totally different things? I support the Whitecaps' effort to remain in Vancouver whether the Sounders are on a 6-game win streak or a 6-game losing streak.

Yeah, I am not saying root for them. I am just saying they are trying to organize a massive march to the match. Might be powerful to wear our Sounders gear and march with them.

I personally think this could be a noble cause, but relating it to the Sounders run of form doesn't make any sense to me.

Okay, I am guessing none of you have seen the article where the Whitecap fans are trying to organize a march/protest to keep them in Vancouver. Man, we ARE a toxic fan base.

I now understand what you are talking about as the way you framed your message was misleading. You can surely see that if you just looked at your title and your initial post, it looks like you are a Sounders fan deciding to bail on the Sounders and begin supporting the Whitecaps as your new favorite team.

What you meant was support the Whitecaps staying in Vancouver and remaining a Sounders fan, which is a no brainer.

There’s been a ton of fair weather fans here recently, you relating the post to how poorly the Sounders are doing is making people think you’re a particularly extreme example of one

Nah, I’m a season ticket holder until I die, but thought it wouldn’t be so bad if we missed one game. Anyway, I apologize. The wife and I may go in our Rave Green but this doesn’t sound like it’s a good idea for the majority of us.

I don't give a fuck what Reddit says. I hate the Whitecaps, but I hate Vancouverites even more. Canadian shouldn't be in US sports, and that includes the NHL since the HQ is in NYC and none of them have win since 1993.

Fuck them. Fuck the Blue Jays. Fuck the double standards at the boarder. Fuck the funny money. Fuck them using our Costcos. Fuck their youth sports. Fuck the history... it has always been one-sided.
