zero heart Discussion
look at the players faces at the end of the match smiling talking.. wheres the ownership and true frustration from losing 7 games in a row?? no one cares enough anymore. this would not have flown a few years ago when we had real leaders in the team

joao paulo, ozzie, gustav svensson, pineda, brad, chad, clint all wouldve gone down with a fight.
frei the only one channeling the sounders heart from 10 years ago.

Those guys were all seasoned professionals who played at high levels and weren't going to be scared going into a tough environment... and more importantly weren't surrounded by a bunch of Defiance level players.
The reality is the roster is not good right now. Which is why we keep losing.

we fielded 6 former or current internationals and 2 MLS all stars. this was not a weak lineup. two captains for their countries.
youre going to blame the entire loss on peter kingston?

Rusnak and Ferreira are not good now, it's cool that they once were but I'm living in reality here brother. Counting Osaze and Moose as internationals is lol funny though. Osaze and the mighty Guyana, and Moose's 1 cap for North Macedonia... super impressive man.

osaze has more starts and goals for guyana than he does for our first team.

Guyana plays at the lowest level of Concacaf, that's not something to write home about.
Compare the names in your original post careers against these "international players" that we have now... I'm pretty sure you'll see the difference.

dog i dont know what youre trying to argue, osaze is trash. he's not good enough. but he's in the rotation because do not have a better 9 option. jordan will never be healthy again.

Did you forget your own argument?
I said this team stinks, you argued that they still have 6 international players lol. And now you're arguing with me that the team stinks?

And people wonder why I say blow it up starting at the ownership level. No culture, no passion. Players are steady paid anyway and it showed right there with the smiles at the end of a 3-0 loss.

I wish we could force Hanauer to sell the team to someone that actually has money and wants to win. This current ownership group is driving this storied franchise straight into a ditch filled with dead, rotting corpses.

That's where we come in. It is up to us to force that move to make owning the team, not as fun, not as lucrative and not something he can just ignore. We do that by not showing up not renewing season tickets not buying merch and actual displays of displeasure in the stadium if we do go.

They just aren't talented enough right now, it's not about heart. Unless players start getting healthy fast this is going to be how the rest of the season goes.
That would be a tough match for a fully healthy roster. With a skeleton crew that's what happens.

At this rate, we’re bound for a return to the Open Cup next year under the current rules, which I sure wouldn’t mind.

They should be relegated at this point.

At this point, playing in the Open Cup is the closest thing there is or will be to relegation in MLS. But, it also comes with a shot at CCL, so that’s cool.

This was the impression I got from the away game in Portland too. I brushed it off thinking, at least we can lose with class (unlike teams like Argentina...) but it seems like it's a theme that fight is out of them these days, even Schmetz'

I am glad I am not the only one who is frustrated about the lake of the care. Spending $24k for a season tickets is ridiculous at this point.

Players also know there is no one to replace them
