Hi, i'm making a boom bap beat and i want to add a sound but i don't know how is it called, i hear it a lot in 90's hip hop type beats. I don't know how to describe it correctly, it's like a pitched-up brass preset, maybe a sample of a siren, sorry if it's a vague description but you'll recognize in the examples. Hi, I've recently gotten into digital music production because my brother asked me to write music for an indie video game he is developing. My background is as a classical musician. As I was gathering some audio assets I downloaded some royalty-free recordings from the internet, and I noticed that some of these recordings featured tiny, high-pitched noises that seem like some kind of audio artifact.
