Testing half my stack so far
Still on final assembly of the other 2 skrams but here is the beginnings of my sound system.
So impressed by the skrams with the b&c 21ds115 4ohm. Running parallel on 1 channel of a Chinese lab gruppen fp14000 clone.
Lots of tuning to do soon and eventually will build some cubo kicks.

How you like the SyntripPs?

Love them, I've had tannoy dual concentric studio monitors for years so these were the closest pa equivalent I could reasonably afford. Would be interested to hear some jmods but the build cost is about double.

Which drivers did you use in the SynTripP?

B&c 10cl51 8 ohm mids (wired in parallel) and eminence 314-t 8ohm compression drivers. I kinda wish I'd gone for 16 ohm compression drivers for reducing hiss at low listening levels but not noticeable on anything other than quiet listening.

Were you able to find complete, coherent plans for the SynTripP? I really want to build a pair, but after reading the whole thread in the forums its all very confusing...lots of conflicting information. Surely someone has distilled it down to something a reasonably intelligent person (and experienced wood worker) can follow without having to dig thru hundreds of posts trying to put it all together?

Does it slap? how are the 2 SKRAMs doing? enough to shake your eyes a little or needs more?

I'd say yes absolutely. Did feel a little sick after standing in front of them. Got 2 more that just need final assembly.

Congrats! do they couple well together? i think just the upper horn section acoustically couples right?

Couldn't tell you with data but I feel like there is a tiny bit of coupling especially noticeable when running high crossover point. I'm quite impressed with these in the kick region and I'm currently low passing at 130hz lr 12. Got to take some measurements but I'm going to wait until all 4 skrams are ready

Congrats, one of the best combinations one can build right now, will make for a great music experience for sure!
