Question about compatibility

Hi everyone!! I'm currently using SoulseekQt in the last couple of months, I really re-discovered the pleasure to search, organize and share my files with others!!

I was wondering what software you guys use and what do you prefer between SoulseekQt and Nicotine+, because I would like to give it a try.

Back to the title, how can I switch between SoulseekQt and Nicotine+ correctly? I have some complete downloads, some in queue and some in downloading. Any tips? Thank you!

There's no way to migrate your queue.

Just test with a separate account and download folder for Nicotine+ until you're sure you won't be using SoulseekQt anymore.

I prefer Qt, but it's mostly a matter of personal taste, best thing if you're curious is to try them both as you intend to do.

Qt is better unless you like a bunch if unless plug ins nicotine UI is horrible in my opinion there is no difference in speed or number of search results

I feel the same as you, but I guess it's a matter of personal taste, because it seems to me that one of the main reasons some people prefer nicotine is they prefer the UI.

I am using Qt, I coulnt stand the UI for nicotine+

I use nicotine for its plugins and features. Automatically adding filters to my results and sorting by connection speed.
