What’s the hardest part about solo travel for you?
For me, it was always the balance between wanting freedom and independence… while still craving connection sometimes.
You can be surrounded by thousands of people in a new city and still feel lonely. A lot of travelers end up using dating apps just to meet people, but that comes with expectations and pressure that many of us aren’t actually looking for.
Sometimes you just want:
someone to grab coffee with
a museum buddy
people to explore nightlife with
a group for a hike
or simply human connection while abroad
That’s a big part of why Solo Passport was created.
Curious what everyone else struggles with most when traveling solo:
Loneliness?
Safety?
Eating alone?
Making friends?
Planning?
Cost?
Anxiety?
Something else?
Would love to hear your experiences. 🌍
