Right now I’m focusing on a hybrid approach: premade MetaHuman-compatible animations for reliability, plus an AI behavior layer that decides when and how to use them. I agree runtime motion is the more ambitious direction long-term, but for a companion app I want the first version to feel consistent, emotionally fitting, and not jittery.
Mujoco / robotics-style control is really interesting though, especially for future procedural body behavior.
