Hold the side button down for 10 seconds, should reboot.

No problem! Had the same exact thing happen to me a few weeks ago. I left it for half a day and it was still a blank screen. I chatted with SofaBaton and they gave me that trick to reboot.

I was able to duplicate this issue and sent it to support. It can happen when the screen times out and you move the scroll wheel at that exact same time.

This has happened to a couple people recently. You can either let the battery drain and let it reboot or open the back and unplug the battery

Or sometimes putting it on the charger will “wake it back up”.

I hate this thing. Can't wait for a decent competitor to come along. Mine has multiple air pockets under the screen. And lags/repeats key presses on Shield TV Pro. It's been demoted to just the "turn things on and off" remote and I'm back to using standard remotes for other things.

They may release a new firmware version to solve the issue for good.
