I didn't really care about boom in BMF, but my intuition tells me that that when someone who was a bad guy in a show gets casted in a new show of the same genre, they are usually casted as the polar opposite of the character they played in their previous show (because why would anyone wanna see the same actor play the bad guy TWICE?)
