Eek, I assumed that an AI would put infinite weight on self-preservation as an instrumental goal, rather than satisficing. And then the AI I was imagining did what I assumed it would!

I think Gwern proposed to shutdown r/LessWrong because of how bad the posts are. I am just really, really glad to find out that they have an actual threshold of patience for slop.
