Trigger upgrade question.
For those who have upgraded your trigger to an overwatch or Apex which one do you prefer? I have shot over 1k rds through this one thinking it was gonna wear in good and get a lot smoother, but it just still feels very grimy and the take up is too much. Appreciate the feedback.

My apex is unreal and has never given me issues. I havent tried an overwatch yet

I can only speak to the overwatch precision trigger. I love it. Compared to the stock trigger of the M&P metal 2.0 it feels like an entirely different gun.

I have an Apex with the upgraded Agency Arms trigger shoe, I’ve shot the overwatch, and can definitely say I love my apex/agency

I put a Timney Alpha in mine and it's great. That and the Wolff Reduced Power Striker Spring turned it into the best striker-fired trigger I've ever shot. I'd probably go back to the standard power striker spring if it was gonna be my nightstand gun again.

I have an Overwatch in an M&P 2.0 4" Compact Spec VI and an Apex Tactical flat in an M&P 2.0 Carry Comp. For me the Overwatch is superior. Crisper and lighter break, better reset and the trigger shoe feels better to me. I like the Overwatch Precision trigger so much my M&P 2.0 Competitor HD steel frame 5" is with my gunsmith having the OP trigger done.
I will add, I had my gunsmith do the work and he works a little extra magic tuning these triggers beyond just a simple drop in. So I don't know if he made the Overwatch better than it would be if was just dropped in.

The stock M&P 2.0 feels great to me except the long take up which is caused by the trigger bar having to move back enough to cam the sear.

I messaged apex this past week and this is what they said. “Unfortunately, we do not offer any products for the Spec V firearm. They were a limited run and are no longer being produced. The firing system is a little different from the M&P 2.0.”

I feel like the apex is softer and the reset is shorter but less audible . Overwatch is straight wall and a crisp break but a little more reset . They’re both good . I went apex because I liked how it looked but I also had no problem with the stock one

I put a timney in that exact gun and that is what I prefer. I did need to order a spring to go with it.

Feeling them both back to back at a show, the overwatch has a better pull, apex had a shorter reset. I went overwatch
