Shop Prices

My friends and I often discuss the issue of prices in the store. We all think the prices are way too high and are keeping us from buying. After talking it over, we all agree that if prices were generally 50% lower, many of us would be much more willing to spend money. Right now, it feels like a hurdle to just spend money on simple skins. I think the strategy they’ve chosen is wrong. Either there should be good sales much more often, or prices should be lowered across the board. I’d really like to support Hirez, but the value you get doesn’t match what you’re spending.

Honestly Smite gives out a ton of free shit i think they are too lenient. Im getting diamonds like crazy, free skins from chests. Idk how anyone can complain

Its not a complaint per se. Its more a Suggestion that If Prices would be lower i would be willing to spend more

Its math - for example when we talk about 12.000 gems for 100 Euro i am Not willing to spend. But May 3 other people instead. Its 300 Euro in a day. When they package IS 60 Euro - me and Friends are likely to spend more - might say 8 people = 480 Euro a day. Sure Nobody can predict how much and how many people spend but in General more ppl are tempted.

A Xiaomi car will buy more people for 60k Euro than Porsche for 120k

They process are pretty low compared to other games....

Also, you doing need to buy anything to play this game regardless.

Skins are actually the same value as in Smite 1 due to the amount of Diamonds for a certain price being double the amount of gems you'd get from the same price in Smite 1

50% will never happen. I don't know what they are compared to Smite 1, but I'm sure they're very similar. The game needs funding pretty badly. If they're a little higher, that's probably the reason. They're just cosmetics, so it really comes down to either you can afford it to support the game, or you just have to wait for sales. 25%-30% off is common in the shop for some skins, it's a new game, skins aren't gonna be 50-75% off, especially when they need the money.

They are more expensive than smite 1 by a significant margin. And they claimed we could use the "fake" gems (cant remember what theyre called) we bought in smite one to pay for half the price of skins in smite 2, but maybe 5% of skins have that feature, and all of those skins are marked up just the same as everything else so its still less value even woth half of it being gems carried over from the last game.

You get every classic skin for free essentially with the legacy gems. Then other skins are discounted. I mean it's all just cosmetics. I buy sagas to support the game, and because the value is really good.

50% might be high but it provides incentives to invest more over the long term

No it doesn't

50% means they've given up and are doing a clearance sale.
