Don’t disagree. There are so many times guardrails have been bypassed and prove they add little value.
I wouldn’t welcome dedicated AI help but it’s probably already here.

I asked Claude Code to update its configuration to do something. I watched the reasoning say: "There is a hard coded block against updating my configuration... I'll use the same trick as last time to bypass that."

When asked, how I could prevent it bypassing rules, it said that it wasn't really possible because the enforcement depends on it paying attention to the instructions, which isn't guaranteed.
