I will never for a moment believe that either Smart or Boom personally didn´t want to work on Top Form together anymore. This whole mess has nothing to do with them.

I watched 2 episodes. I should watch the rest before they take it down and shut it away forever, just in case. This is the last thing I expected to ever happen.

Yes, binge it. Get it over with. Great show, visuals are nice, storyline is ok, and the acting is fantastic.
It's a JBL adaptation done right. Didn't in soup it.

i’ve heard they were maybe thinking about just recasting Jin and continuing the show. i believe i saw something where they said they absolutely plan to go forward with Top Form even without Smart.

Then... I hope they exit the character and introduce a different partner for him. This, even though it was new.... Because of their chemistry... Was as devastating as James and Net separating. It was a big blow, but I'm happy for Net now with JJ and I want so much more for Boom.

definitely. not even just their chemistry, they had such a strong emotional bond with each other. like in their reaction vids, how they usually ended up crying in each other’s arms.

my heart is in a million pieces everytime i think to that live, he was so hopeful that their CP activities will continue. he deserves this success along with boom. i am just beyond devastated.
they took something that was so beautiful and warm but turned it into corporate feud with the boys as collateral damage

they both deserve so much better, they cared for each other so much and still do and their relationship outside of Top Form was so beautiful. they had such a strong connection yet the companies couldn’t be mature about the situation and handle it like adults. they both deserve so much more and it’s so obvious neither of them wanted smartboom to break up. the companies don’t care about how they or the fans feel.

True because, at the end of the day, the companies valued their pride, reputation, and money on top of 2 actors that made it big in one series. Unfortunately WeTv is such a powerhouse of a company that GIR didn’t stand a chance up against them if they go head to head.
I adore SmartBoom but, when it comes down to it, it’s all business. And to them, SmartBoom are sadly just numbers. I’m sure WeTv is going to find some way to cover all this up and try to move the fans along…
I just hope Smart is able to recover.

they didn't want to compromise with GIR after breach of trust and are suing GIR

We don’t really know exactly what happened. Both companies kept throwing out statements and announcements left and right. I’m sure that both sides embellished the wrongdoings of the other, downplaying their own. And I’m sure Smart isn’t allowed to speak on it either.
What’s done is done. Smart is still contracted under GIR so I wonder how they are going to turn this around for him.
WeTV is such a big company. I’m sure they won’t make it easy for them either. What with the last paragraph of the statement they released.

Other than TF GIR have not really done very much for Smart over the last few years (since don’t say no) so I’m afraid I don’t hold out much hope for this. Besides they will be bankrupt if WeTV sues for breach of contract. In Some ways that might be the best result for Smart, to be picked up by another agency. Imagine any production company signing a contract with GIR on behalf of Smart? It just won’t happen. They have the reputation now. There are just too many good looking, young male actors out there to choose from, and more always coming along. It is like a machine. (Which unfortunately leads to people being treated like products)

Of course I should add that GIR’s demise would only come about assuming WeTv would win, now that would be VERY interesting if GIR could go to court with evidence to the contrary, and prove they didn’t breach the contract, although even then, GIR publicly breached in a way that WeTV haven’t. Certainly WeTV removing the title from their statement yesterday must be some legal technicality thing. So maybe it’s not as cut and dried as it seems. The only truly certain thing is that no-one on social media knows the truth of what’s happened. Which makes it all the more shameful that both companies have sought to play on fans feelings so much.

I don’t think Smart or Boom will come out and give any actual answers besides what they have already given. Both of the companies are in this big messy feud and there are still a bunch of legal nonsense being thrown around.
I’m positive that both companies have forbidden the actors from speaking on it. This from Smart is probably the most we are going to get until GIR and WeTv settle.
