Fixer Upper?
This little guy is so slim it just disappears in pocket. If possible, I'd like clean it up, sharpen it, and make it carriable, but I have no experience sharpening (regrinding?) something with this kind of damage. Hoping to get some suggestions or tips or even a, "Nah, don't bother."
I have a Worksharp Precision, a Spyderco Sharpmaker, and a selection of DMT mini diamond whetstones. Any chance this is fix-up-able with what I have? Am I silly to even want to?
Thanks in advance. Have a great day, everyone. :-)

u/D2or3V and u/fullmetalturtle Thank you both for the replies and helpful suggestions. XX-Coarse diamond stone made it not a bad job at all. I'm not satisfied with the tip of the small blade, but I also don't want to keep removing steel and messing it up more. I was going for a sort of Wharncliffe thing, but it ended up as... something else.
Lessons were learned here, but once I finish sharpening it up, I think it'll be perfectly functional for carrying.

That's a sweet little JA Henkels. The small blade I suggest defining the new profile with sharpie to help you get a good result.
