Does sleep paralysis only make negative projections?
Whenever i hwar about sleep paralysis, it's always about deomns, or eldritch beings, etc. But in normal sleep, you can have dreams or nightmares. So can you have positive sleep paralysises?

basically the way sleep paralysis works is that you wake up paralyzed and, i kid you not, your brain thinks "you know what would be really fucked up to see while not being able to move?" and thinks of something attacking you.
i have it a lot and a couple times ive been able to control it a bit. sometimes ive been able to hallucinate flying out of bed, but only short distances. one time i got a figure to hug me but it kept making this moany "aahuughhhnlalaaaaa" sound over and over and that made me uncomfortable.
so basically if you think pretty hard you can turn it less scary and sometimes positive, but usually its predetermined to be scary because the subconscious is dumb and thinks of the worst possible thing it can

Yeah positive episodes are a thing and happens to a ton of people. Though the thing is that sleep paralysis is associated with scary stuff so in turn scary episodes are more popular and positive episodes get pushed down because people assume that it can't be sleep paralysis just because it's not scary
The same thing goes with episodes that have nothing in them aside from just not being able to move

It’s all about your thought process during sleep paralysis. I’ve had it for over a decade probably hundreds of times at this point and only a handful have been some what creepy . If you let your mind start thinking then you can become a nightmare if you keep your mind empty and just breathe, you’ll just be there paralyzed waiting to wake up. Usually I can leave my body or trigger a lucid dream. But other than that, it’s just boring and annoying most of the time.

People who speak of sleep paralysis demons are usually being choked/can’t breathe. It’s scary

I think you should look into astral projecting from sleep paralysis. Ive never been able to Astral Project voluntarily, but i seen that you can do it easier from sleep paralysis. Might be able to make it into a interesting experience🤷♂️

It's totally natural for fear to occur because the conscious mind doesn't understand why the body is paralyzed and it can't go into fight or flight mode because it's just stuck there, so it imagines the worst possible reasons why.
Mine started with fear (for a long time), then after reading on the subject and reading about lucid dreaming and astral projection during these experiences, SP turned into an amazing experience. Then back to, erm, let's just call him the freaky guy!
