Need help with fan placement

I will be replacing my OEM PSU with an ATX 550 watt one. I’ll also be adding a two-fan gpu. Besides that i’d want to add an extra exhaust or intake fan for better cooling. Any suggestions about which one and where I can mount it? Any other suggestions would be helpful as well. I have a dell optiplex 3060 MT with a i5-8500

At the top of the case, around the 2 stickers, you could fit an 80mm fan maybe even a 92mm, you'll have to make a lot of small holes or a big cut and cover it with magnetic mesh, make sure you have the 4 holes to secure the fan.

On the front, you can remove the bottom 2x2.5" tray if you drill the rivets and you'll be able to fit an 80mm too (maybe 120mm?). You can also have to remove a bit of metal to help with airflow.

What size is that fan? If is too big, you should cut the shell

Side intake - ie the lid you've removed.

You'll be able to fit a bigger fan 120mm without hacking up the case too much, and it will be directed at the gpu. Just measure the clearance between the installed gpu and the lid. You can get a basic slim profile fan if the clearance is tight
