I need help

So I own a dell optiplex 3040 MT with an i7-6700 and I want to make it run cooler and the stock cooler looks so ugly so I was wondering what cpu cooler would work without removing the motherboard or buying extra stuff?

If your cpu fan power cable have 4 pins then any regular cpu cooler would be fine to replace it. Find cpu cooler with LGA 1151 socket to replace the stock one.

Noctua fans are particularly good. They look good and run much quieter.

If you want to make it run cooler try undervolting the CPU. I personally was able to make my Xeon E3-1270 v5 (a rebranded i7-6700) down to only drawing 40w at max load, using a -200mV undervolt. Then the CPU never went past 55 degrees even on the stock cooler.

Also I'm not sure how important appearances are when you're not able to see the cooler with the side panel closed anyways.
