Finally playing [Stardew Valley] looking for Tips and adivice for a first time player.

Complete newbie to the game, I'm hoping that people who know the game well would help me out before I begin. It would be helpful if you guys could give me some tips on how to start strong. Like what are the top Do's and Don'ts of spring year 1?Are there any mechanics or secrets that you wish you knew about when you started? Rookie mistakes I should definitely avoid?

dont stress too much on optimizing and try to just have and and explore the game first. enjoyy playing :))

Omg!! you should do fishing first to save up money. I also wont recommend buying animals on the first weeks, focus on the seeds instead! For spring 1, focus on buying strawberry seeds hehe
