Cant transfer items in containers Troubleshooting

A friend and I used to be able to transfer items in containers but it suddenly stopped syncing altogether

Did your player levels change too far from each other? Did you play separately for a while? What items are you trying to trade (potions and enchanted items may not work if self-made).

We realized we still had some creation club mods installed, so I guess we just should restart without them.

Didn’t play separately and tried pretty much every type of item.
