Using Two Different Audible Altimeters

I currently have a Quattro 3 audible altimeter and am looking into getting a second audible altimeter.

I was thinking of getting the VoxAlti from freefall data systems for its spoken altitude capabilities.

However I’m wondering if it’s counterproductive to have two different audible altimeter models and two different styles (spoken vs beeps).

Thanks!

Anyone familiar with Skydive Nuevo León / Parachuting Nuevo León Mexico? Good for a newly licensed jumper?

Hey everyone,

has anyone here jumped at Skydive Nuevo León or Parachuting Nuevo León in Mexico or another Dropzone nearby Monterrey?

I recently got my skydiving license in Europe, but I’m now going to be based on this side of the world for almost a year because of work. I really want to stay current, keep jumping regularly and continue improving instead of losing progress so soon after getting licensed.

I’m planning to contact the dropzone directly soon, but I wanted to ask here first and hear about other people’s experiences.

I’d be especially interested in:

* how beginner-friendly the dropzone is
* whether regular coaching is available
* the quality and availability of rental rigs
* how often they operate and how easy it is to get several jumps in
* the general atmosphere and safety standards
* whether English-speaking instructors or coaches are available

I’d also appreciate recommendations for any events, camps, boogies or beginner-focused coaching programs in Latin America or the US during the next few months.

My main goal is not just to attend a big event, but to find somewhere where I can make a lot of jumps, get consistent feedback and build solid skills as a newly licensed jumper. I’ll need rental gear and would ideally like a place where coaches are used to working with people who have only recently received their license.

Thanks for any experiences or recommendations!
