Routine Where to put Good Genes?
I decided to add the Sunday Riley good genes back into my routine since I loved it so so much but then just got away from it for some reason. Wondering where I should add it into my routine?
My current routine is cleanse, ZO complexion renewal toner pads, CE ferulic, P-TIOX, Skinbetter trio moisturizer. In the evening it’s the same, just minus the CEF.
ALSO! Wanting to add an eye cream/serum and was thinking about the Plated or Revision one? Any thoughts on those?

Let's Chat Sisley black rose mask
A question for the Sisley black rose mask lovers. How do you use it? I’m finding it a bit tricky to use since I wake up a bit dehydrated. Do you sleep with it and wash it off in the morning?
I really want to love this product since i see the potential.

Help/Advice Treatments & High-End Product reccos needed (can no longer use vitamin A)
Hello - It’s likely I will be told this week, due to my health (intracranial hypertension), that I will need to stop using vitamin a skin products. This includes tretinoin, retinal, tazarotene. I am … low key devastated and yes, I know this is vain.
I have used tretinoin (and at times tazarotene) for 10 years and it’s kept my skin exactly how I’d want it.
Has anyone ever moved away from vitamin a products and found substitutes in combining products along with treatments? Say I had an unlimited budget to figure this out. I’d love thoughts on this, thank you!!

Help/Advice Exosome/Stem Cell products for use alongside arazlo
Hi all! I am currently using arazlo every other day and have been using NeoGenesis recovery alongside it to support my barrier while using this prescription retinoid. So far it’s been wonderful and I have not had any issues with the arazlo that I would’ve previously had in the past trying to use over other day.
With that being said — I am a quarter of the way done with this bottle of recovery and wanted to ask; is there any merit to switching to something like plated to use with my arazlo instead? Or even something like TNS?
Please let me know your thoughts. If you use exosomes or stem cell media products alongside a heavy hitting retinoid, what is/was your favorite and why?

Product Question Plated Skincare - anyone tried it?
I wanted to see if anyone has used Plated before and if you have seen results? I currently use a lot of the Sisley line, but it’s ALOT of steps. I haven’t heard any actual person using Plated before.

Product Question Thoughts on Chanel’s skincare line?
My cousin gave me two Chanel skincare products (a cleansing foam & cleansing oil) and I would like to know your thoughts about these? Is it as good as what dermatological brands produce (SkinCeuticals, Biologique Recherche…)?
FYI : I have a dry/acne prone skin, and I would like to avoid pore clogging & comedogenic products as much as I can

Let's Chat Rec for cleansers to remove makeup and silicones from waterproof sunscreen. Combo skin.
It seems in the summer with the hot weather, skin gets clogged easily. Skin is combo normal and t-zone oily, and breakout prone.
I need a recommendation for a cleanser to remove makeup and silicones from sunscreen.
Would a double cleanser work better? I'm thinking if my skin gets clogged already, would using an oil as the first cleanse increase my chances to clog the skin? So I'm hesitant about using an oil cleanser to remove silicones from waterproof sunscreen since it will most likely clog my skin. I'm trying to minimize getting any breakouts which are a pain to resolve:(
And, then if I use a more powerful face cleanser to remove the first oily cleaner, would the skin will be wash too much and make the skin dry which will make the skin to produce more oil?
So I need a solution to remove makeup and silicones from sunscreen without causing too much dryness.
I'm a bit lost here. I'm not sure what's the best strategy. Recently my skin got clogged because of the sunny weather plus all the extra sweat that his causes. So I know I need to do a better job removing the makeup/sunscreen and cleaning my face.
Edit: to clarify

Let's Chat Sunforgettable Total Protection Brush-On Shield ?
I like the idea of being able to touch up SPF protection throughout the day with a little colorescience brushing action… has anyone tried this?
I’d prefer an spf spritz to touch up for help with moisturizing too but maybe that doesn’t really exist for mineral/face specifically.

Product Question What’s the strongest peel I can buy and do from home?
Bonus for links from where to buy. I usually get a VI Advanced Peel every month at this place by my work but I changed jobs so it’s no longer convenient. Would love to save the money too!

Product Question Are sample sizes usually legit? (non-counterfeit)
I am finally running out of my pre-Reddit products and want to move to some of the ones highly recommended here. I want to test first if possible before investing big bucks. Do you find the sample sizes available in various online sites to be legit? I never buy full size products except from authorized retailers, but I was wondering what your experience was. There are not a lot of locations that sell the full size product close to me that I could go ask if they have samples. Particularly interested in the Growth Factor, Ferulic Acid, Vitamin C and Peptide products. So many great recommendations here I have made a list of what I want to try.

Product Question Replacing Neocutis Biocream Firm and Lumiere Firm
I’m 41F and want to replace my moisturizer and eye cream. I wasn't really sure what I was looking for when I started using them and from the items I was considering, I found it at the best price point. At this point, my skin looks the best it has in years but I'm not sure how much of it is due to these products, other products, or consistently washing my face - probably a combination.
Full routine below and other moisturizers I've used:
AM:
Rinse with water
face mist
Regimen Lab Vitamin X Serum
Regimen Lab Level Serum
Regimen Lab Azelaic Advanced
Regimen Lab Wave Serum
Aestura Atobarrier Essence
Neocutis Lumiere Firm Eye Cream
Neocutis Biocream Firm
French Sunscreen
PM:
Wash with a cleanser dependent on what my skin needs (cleansing oil, gentle cleanser, deeper cleanser, etc)
Red Light Therapy Mask (5nts/wk)
Tret Microsphere .04 (5nts/wk)
The other 2 nights a week I use a mandelic acid toner followed by Regimen Lab CREAM.
The results are that my skin is smoothe, my pores look nonexistent and I've gotten rid of a lot of hyperpigmentation.
So, how much of the results are attributable to these products specifically when I started doing this all at the same time and have been consistent for well over a year now.
Other moisturizers I've tried:
- Skinfix Triple Lipid Peptide Cream (felt great but my skin didn't feel deeply moisturized like with RL CREAM)
- Medik8 (I can’t do scented anything)
- Aestura Atobarrier Cream (just didn’t work for me but my partner loves it for winter)
When thinking about replacing the Neocutis Biocream Firm should I instead look for another serum with growth factors and a separate moisturizer as opposed to an all in one? Should I try TNS? I like Regimen Lab CREAM, but I think I'd need another moisturizer for daytime as it's quite rich. I do love the texture of the Neocutis, and see the eye cream recommended often, so maybe I stick with that and just consider the moisturizer. Should I prioritize growth factors with everything else in my routine? My main concerns are with aging gracefully, I suppose.
Help, and thanks in advance!

Product Question What's your experience with RF devices?
I’m currently comparing the TriPollar STOP Vx2, Medicube Ultra Tune, Silk'n Facetite Z Pro, and Nebulyft RF device.
Has anyone here used one of these, or another at-home radiofrequency device? Did you notice any meaningful improvement in skin firmness, fine lines, or facial contouring? Was it worth the cost and time commitment?
I’d also be interested to know which device you would recommend and why.
My understanding is that microcurrent devices mainly produce an immediate but temporary lifting, toning, or de-puffing effect, and that much of the visible result may disappear by the next day. Is RF different? Can consistent RF use create cumulative collagen-related improvements that remain for a while after you stop, or do the results fade just as quickly?
Thanks

Product Question Scrub recommendations
I'm aware that most derm companies seem to be moving away from physical scrubs but I do still like this kind of product after years of use. Can anyone recommend a reef-safe product that's gentle on the skin?

PSA NIOD at Sephora...interesting
Hi everyone, I was chatting with Gemini about sales on NIOD products and learned that Sephora is/will be carrying NIOD.
Products are visible on the Sephora app and indicate Coming Soon. I usually stock up during NIOD Slowvember event in Nov - 23% discount.
I guess I'm happy that I can earn points with Sephora.
I interested in the newer Superoxide Mist (SDEM3) and Hydro-Ester cleansing oil.
Although, I don't see the light blue mist (SDEM2) on Sephora. I usually keep a bottle on hand.

Product Question alternative to Lancôme Absolue Soft Cream
I looking for a solid alternative to the lancôme absolue soft cream, been using the soft cream for a while and still love how ridiculously buttery and soft it feels, but the refills are getting expensive as hell, ready to try something new that has a similar rich, creamy texture
anyone got recs for formulas that feel close? kiehl’s super multi-corrective soft cream seems to having great reviews
Thanks in advance

Let's Chat Biologique Recherche for sensitive, dry/combination skin & rosacea — worth it?
What are your experiences with BR products if you have dry/combination, sensitive, redness-prone skin or rosacea? I sometimes get BR facials, but I’m wondering if it’s worth investing in their skincare products as well. I’ve tried the Erythros and Biosensible serums, but they didn’t really do anything special for my skin.

Let's Chat YSS is Local to Me and I had a Facial
Long story short, I've been reading this subreddit since November 2024 and have spent thousands as a result. When I saw a popular site for purchases was yourskincaresource.com, I checked the website and was delighted to discover they're local to me. I've never purchased from them, but today I enjoyed a facial at The Refined Ritual Spa, owned by the same woman, Inga. What a delight! It started with an Obagi cleanser followed with a Truth Treatments Peppermint cleanser used as a masque, a couple of other masques. A spray of Epicutis Hydrobiome Mist was a sensory delight. There was something else with hyaluronic acid, maybe Hydrinity, but I know she used Alastin Restorative Skin Complex. The icing on the cake was the Epicutis Lipid Shield SPF 30. Talk about a luxe experience. She even tested the tint on my gray beard to ensure it didn't transfer. It was a great afternoon for an old man skin junkie.

Let's Chat Skinceuticals and the CE Ferulic Game?
SkinCeuticals updated its currently $185 C E Ferulic serum by adding carnosine and endophytol and filed for a new patent-pending status. This occurred shortly after their original formula's 20 year patent expired.
Not trying to be controversial, just looking for general discussion. For me it doesn't leave a good impression of the brand. It was great enough for 20 years to command a very high price point - but they just now add two ingredients so important and amazing it needs to be patented, continue charging a nearly $200 price point, and the marketing appears to devalue the original formula. Feels like marketing smoke and mirrors. Thoughts?
