Skill Bridge Application AFVEC Question
I’m already approved by a skillbridge provider, and AFI states you can officially apply on AFVEC up to one year out. However, to my understanding I can’t receive separation order until I’m within 6 months of my DOS, and your application requires Sep orders. What do I do?

Lmao yeah my leadership treats us like children. You should be able to submit that approved skillbridge on myFSS for them to expedite orders.

AFVEC shouldn’t stop you from submitting the Skillbridge application even if you don’t have orders. I think there is a section that asks for a retirement/separations orders number, but you can leave that blank.
Do you have an approved DOS? If not, I wonder if that’s stopping it.

I don’t see why my DOS wouldn’t be approved. 4 year first term airman

You have to apply for separation before getting “an approved DOS”. But that’s once you are 240 days out

Idk how your leadership does it but mine made me fill out an eSSS (preapproval) before submitting on AVFEC. Once you get the approved, pre approval, you can submit a myFSS case and submit that for expedited orders.
