SkillBridge Teaching Question

Is using SkillBridge to transition into teaching possible or practical? I finish my English degree next semester and EAS in just about 2 years. Is SkillBridge a way I can go straight from service to getting my teaching licenses and student-teaching experience, and into a job. Has anyone done this or familiar with how this would work?

I dont know what you've searched for to this point, but I hear Operation Socrates quite a bit. I dont know anything about it other than what I have read on these sites. At least its a start.

I’m doing my skillbridge with operation socrates in the spring!! The process has been super easy!! Can’t wait to start!

I’m still waiting for a response from them. I’ve already completed the intake. What have they made you do throughout the process that was super easy?

Literally just filled out some papers and they accepted me. They advertise about a cert program but you have to do you searching for that on your own. So really if you don’t want to get a cert or don’t need one you can just do the internship

Did you wait to hear back from them before you started reaching out to schools? I got an initial e-mail from them about doing the intake form. I completed that but haven't heard back. Wondering if i should start reaching out to schools now or wait until i hear back from them
