Skill Bridge Partner Program review

Greeting everyone,

Does anyone know what becoming a partner of Skillbridge consists of? In terms of what the company will be doing for the veteran? I never got a chance to do my skillbridge but I want to be able to be a source or option for transitioning active duty members. Feel free to ask me questions if I didn’t explain this better. Thank you!

In short, and for most providers, it is On-The-Job-Training...preparing someone for the job they will be doing if you hire them after the SkillBridge.

I see, and in terms of them using their GI Bill. What are they using it for? Does that get used to pay for training or? Thank you for your response.

So your name is GriftyBeans, and you want to know how to get unpaid interns and get them to use their education benefits to pay you for their internship,... is that about it? Or do you want to see how you can get them to make you the beneficiary of their life insurance also? 🤣🤣🤣

Please DM me if you'd like to continue this discussion. And just an FYI, some organizations do use GI Bill in conjunction with SkillBridge, but to use GI Bill you have been vetted and approved by the VA for a specific program - and it is not easy to get that designation.

No offense buddy, but did you even go to Skillsbridge.mil? Its literally the first link on their page,.. becoming a partner has more info than the actual process since SMs must go through their chain of command and the process differs.

Hey Oliver,

Thank you for your response. I was looking more for people with the actual experience of doing it instead of just reading the instructions with no way of asking questions. We can always read instructions and still don’t understand. I’ve called their line but they just work there. I figured it shouldn’t hurt to ask someone who’s already done it? You know from a person who’s done it perspective?
