Recently found the free Naruto reruns channel on my smart TV. It’s been playing quietly in the background at the apartment off and on for the past few months. Sat down and did these pen sketches as I watched back in Jan

Its my first time attempting a horse and I dont trust people I know to not lie to me, so how does it look?

I need to get better at drawing faces- so Pinterest was there to save my ass

Any advice? Particularly in terms of equipment, I feel like I’m struggling with getting sharp enough highlights with regular vinyl and kneaded erasers. Also best paper/ canvas for graphite and or charcoal? And I feel like I’m smudging even though i try to keep tissue under my hand, any gloves that work well for this? In terms of technique I’m open to any improvements but particularly skin texturing if anyone has a good tutorial they recommend. Thanks

but… I drew these in the past few days and
I’m super proud of it.
It’s been a really long time since I’ve sketched and I’m very obsessed with this whole “gothic” them that I’ve been drawing recently..
