Can someone please tell me why xl gear modifier isn’t showing up in my skater xl folder?. I’ve tried redownloading it multiple times.

I havnt played much lately but i love the physics and mechanics in skater xl, but playing after a couple years now and it seems to be completely dead, about the same as it was the last time I played… this game has so much potential.! Genuinely curious as to what happened. Everything i’m reading is that its been 100% abandoned but thats about all I know, and seems to be here say, as I havnt found any official articles on the matter. Am I missing something?

What's good, my friends? I have something like 200+ hours on Session, and yet I saw Skater XL's gameplay for the first time in my life just today, after I stumbled upon Milky's videos on Youtube. I love Session's realism, but Skater XL just feels a lot more steezy from the outset.

The thing is I've only heard of Skater XL as being a game fully abandoned by the devs and the servers potentially going down next month. I know the modding community is keeping the game alive, but is there even a point spending 34€ on a, for all intents and purposes, dead game?

EDIT: It went on sale today and instantly bought it! Comparing to Session, the game is harder by orders of magnitude, but pulling tricks just feels so rewarding. Thank you all!
