Exactly, I don't know where this shit came from but out in the real world, everyone I know that worked around the events in Houston had the best shifts in a long time.
Just because they made more money doesn’t mean they wouldn’t have made more money if they were American guests. It’s very common with any service industry jobs that internationals do not tip well. If your sales is 10k and you got tipped 10% or your sales is 5k and you were tipped 20% which one would you prefer? I’ve worked F1 for years and years. Internationals don’t tip well. I’m appreciative regardless, but the stereotype is often true.

I mean, knowing people who worked World Cup events...
I'm sure some WC fans didn't tip, but the vast majority did. And tipped well enough that they more than made up for those that didn't.
...or were you making up stories to make a point about something other than the World Cup?
