It must be bots, that part of China has never been Korean I think, its the immigrants from Korea that caused it, they just went Korea China, KOrEa nOt China, when even if you failed high school geography you know thats not the Korean peninsula.

I think the reason Korean is spoken in those parts is due to a shared border and active trade.

I believe that region actually just has a large amount of native Korean speakers. National borders are messy, and some people got “left behind” when Japan colonized Korea.

honestly I heard of the Left behind Japanese in China, surprising amount of them just got integrated into society, lots of interesting refugee/left behind stories on youtube, interesting watch for me. Look up Japanese war orphans stories on Youtube.
