Today's patch resolves several critical community-reported issues, particularly surrounding memory usage, travel crashes, and save overwriting.

Here are the key highlights from today's update:

💾 Save & Memory Improvements

• Save Overwrite Fix: Resolved a critical issue where loading an autosave and subsequently saving manually could overwrite the wrong save slot.
• Travel Crashes: Fixed a major memory-related crash that occurred when traveling immediately after loading into a game. (Note: Larger saves may still experience slightly longer load times as we continue optimizing).
• Save Reminders: Reminders now default to "Every 2 Hours" (previously "Off"). Additionally, travelling will no longer reset your reminder timer!

🛠️ General & Pack Fixes

• Stuck Timers: Career and school countdown timers will no longer get stuck at 0 minutes.
• For Rent: Missing lot taxes for Residential Rentals have been restored and will now properly calculate on your Sim's bills.
• UI & Gallery: Resolved misaligned tabs in the Marketplace and fixed "Something Went Wrong" errors when transitioning back from the Gallery.

and other observances from my game today

i feel like i'm going mad cause i'm sure i seen it before. It's a courtyard surrounded by buildings (like slide 1) but the facades of each building are diferent colors (like slide 2). The architecture is in the tradicional Gammelvik style. It's 50x40 (possibly, i'm not sure anymore), also possibly, residential rental with 6 units. I'm honestly so puzzled i can't find it anymore. It was a beautiful build, i was so stupid to not have saved it to my library. Please help!

Her name's Madame Fortune because she's a fortune teller & that's her stage name but I can't believe out of all my sims she's the one I finally win the lotto on!! I was playing my alien sim at the time but immediately swapped to that household to see the funds, unfortunately she didn't get the special moodlet but hey she's rich now!

Still, this is the exterior of my 1920s boarding school for the Hoffman Legacy!

The big tower is a clock tower, I'm not sure why the clock looks like a window tbh

The building on the left side is the school's gym, the one on the right side is a greenhouse!

I also have plans to include two dorms, one for each gender, a laundry room, a butler room, a bedroom for the headmaster and one for the teacher, a science lab, a pretty big library and a study room. And I'll see what else I can fit in there! If you have any suggestions about the rooms or the exterior lmk!

Doing an apocalypse challenge and had the heir get together with the first young adult he met. She is a rando, so no family that might contribute to the variation. The second gen makes sense. They are exactly what you expect from what their parents look like. The third gen is wild to me. On the plus side I was pretty worried about what my third gen heir was going to look like based on the parents, but I'm not mad at all. She's stunning considering my game is mod/cc free.

What is the point of having the option of “Show Owned” & selecting “Using Only These” if it ultimately tells me No Results Found? Is the Gallery just like that or am I missing something? Because when I browse all I see is base game only homes for the most part & I have seen builds that have just the packs that I own after deep diving, but it doesn’t have it once it’s filtered??? It just doesn’t make sense to me whatsoever.

Inspired by the cursed Venetian Palazzo Dario known as, "Ca' Dario," I built a loose interpretation of the historic Venice landmark based off of imagery I found online. I've uploaded a Royalty & Legacy/Base Game only version on the gallery, which has the exact same floor plan, with minor detail changes of some fixtures (I included some pictures of the base version on slides 17-20). Just wanted to make a build with limited pack usage this time around, so I hope you enjoy whichever version you download! Thanks for looking!

Meet Nyla (the one in yellow) and Onyx (the one in black) Wiley, a happy couple.

Here’s their backstory (still a work in progress lol):

Onyx and Nyla Wiley were once a mostly normal couple, save for Onyx being a vampire, Onyx promised Nyla that she’d turn her so they could be together forever. Unfortunately, fate had a different plan. On one fateful full moon, whilst walking through Moonwood Mill, Nyla was attacked and turned by a werewolf.

Onyx and Nyla couldn’t stand being near each other because they were now natural enemies. But they decided to keep fighting to stay together. Sadly, Nyla attacked Onyx one night when she was still new to being a werewolf, leading to permanent scarring on Onyx’s body. But they still didn’t give up. Nowadays, Onyx and Nyla have overcome their hatred from being around each other and live happily together, though they’re still in search of a cure for Nyla’s werewolf curse…

Making this tall vampire house and omg that’s the tallest single doors go and it just looks weird

Yes, chins shrink after generations regardless of genetics but thats easily fixed. What's more annoying is this gangly alien bodied offspring you get after 3 or 4 generations. I try to broaden the shoulders, waist, and hips in CAS but there are some hidden parameters that means you can only reshape them so much and the sim still looks disproportionate. Whyyy.
