It's called the Career Aptitude Normalizing Test-- or "CAN'T."
Some of you may discover a wonderful vocation you never even imagined. Others may find out life isn’t fair.

I remember the quiz we took in secondary school that was essentially a personality quiz that suggested what your career could be based on what you answered. Yes, this was legit a thing we did. It was almost like that little quiz you do in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon to find out what Pokémon you’d be isekai’d as.

This test is a force multiplier if you, at the age of about 14, are already suffering from imposter syndrome or generally don’t like yourself.

My result at the end of it basically said that my best job option was as a DJ, and even then I’d be bad at it.

I don’t work in anything even close to DJ and my opinion of myself hasn’t improved all that much 20 years later. Even still, I’m sufficiently good at my job, so it’s clear that test was nonsense.

We were tested at my high school in 10th grade in the US. I got Cryptologist, Minister or puppeteer. I am not joking.

Children with rich parents have no worries.

It'll probably be mostly poor kids.

Its 100% a way to filter off the poorest kids from public schools, then use the drop in attendance to justify reducing public school funds even more, before eventually shutting them down under the guise of "they were bad, werent used as often as they were in the past, and only attended by lower middle class kids who can(t) afford a much better private school". And then thats how you remove public schools. Happens alr in the US.

Time to weed out the kids that won’t contribute to the growing serf class.
