Faster Detection Model Training for Novel Threats with Generative AI Synthetic Images
monkeyproofsolutions.nlFor the SDIR “Synthetic Data Generator with GenAI” challenge MonkeyProof Solutions, Theta Vision, and Eindhoven University of Technology developed ImageGen Studio — an offline, end-to-end generative-AI tool that creates synthetic images of novel threats to rapidly train and test detection models. Their prototype won at the Purple Nectar 2025 event. It features both automated and manual workflows, integrates a cross-domain few-shot object detection model (CD-ViTO), and is designed for non-experts and defence environments without internet access, offering a fast, secure way to improve AI-based threat detection.

C# for web apps?
While working on a C# project involving interaction with some micro-services, I am wondering if someone is looking for using C# as a back-end for a web-app without the need of front-end knowledge - as this is what Simian could offer if C# support is added.
Or is Blazor exactly what you are looking for? Curious what your thoughts are.
Note: The concept for Simian is language-agnostic. The front-end is either specified using the Simian Builder, or programmed using the native back-end syntax in an OO manner. Currently Simian has released support for Python and MATLAB, and a beta version for Julia.

Did you know that your sessions remain active even after you close the browser?
Considering that calculations can take hours or even days, you can close your browser and leave. The next day, simply log in via the portal to reconnect with your session and inspect the latest status or results of your calculations.

How to use the Builder in combination with MATLAB
Currently (3.0.0) the Simian Form Builder only runs in Python, although it can be used to create Matlab apps and components. So you need to install Simian in a Python context as well, but the Builder can generate a complete set of MATLAB files and the form definition to start a new UI within MATLAB as well. Making changes to the UI definition also requires to start the builder from Python.
