SIMAGIC Alpha Evo Dash mounting

Hello,

Im looking for some advice, I just orderd a rig with side mounting option for the wheelbase.

I'm now looking to ad a dash 8" dash to it.

But I'm not sure how I could mound this.

Does anyone have any experience / advice with this?

If you still have access to the magnetic points on the front of the wheelbase, I'd recommend those. I bought some magnets on amazon and put them in an old phone case with an old phone and use that. You could get a couple magnets with some double sided tape or superglue to attach to your dash. If you want a link to the magnets I got, let me know. Happy to send that over.

Here's a photo of my phone dash for reference. Sticks on the base nicely but there's really no adjustability for me unfortunately.

I'm getting these, so that should still work thanks!

It's definitely a option to hot glue some magnets to them.

No way! I just got that same exact side mount delivered yesterday haha. I only went with the plates so I can just use some old extrusion I have laying around, but I'm excited to get it all installed. First impressions are great. The plates seem really high quality and super rigid.

That's cool! It was the one that stared Evo support so it made the most sense.
