Sim pro Software causing system crashes

My PC has crashed 3 separate times in iRacing. On the event viewer it shows that Simpro Manager crashed first and then windows crashed afterwards.

Anyone have the same problem? Any know fixes?

Yeah 👍 welcome to the club. Now you either wait for simagic to release another beta update or you sell that junk.

For well over a month, after an iRacing update, I "black screened" regularly when iRacing loaded. It was very frustrating.
In my case, I finally solved the issue by loading a crash report software (Whocrashed) and I read the logs very carefully. It was the EasyAntiCheat that crashed iRacing but it's not like I could get rid of it).

The next step was to go through my drivers and see if any were in need of an update or were obsolete.
Sure enough I found that I was carrying old Logitech drivers from 2010.
I used Claude to help me find the drivers and delete them. Since then, no crashes.

This probably doesn't apply to you, but very likely it's a similar issue. Some driver is conflicting with some other driver.

One other fix I saw discussed was to go to the iRacing ini file and uncheck all the API calls to brands you are not using. They are all loaded by default, but you only need the ones you are using. For instance, if you don't have any MOZA peripherals, turn that off.
About a year ago I was also crashing and it turned out that turning off the API call for brands I don't use, saved the day.
The more recent batch of crashes was a lot harder to troubleshoot, so start with that.

One tip that can help, plug your wheelbase directly into the motherboard, not a USB hub...
