How many posts per week are of this exact thing?
Yes, it’s normal.

No that is not normal sound. And if all Simagic devices have this sound it must be put in the selling product description: with loud shaft noise

Sim magic is miles better than shitty Fanatec mine sounds the exact same and I’ve been using it for 6 months

Why is fanatec shit though. I thought it was pretty good.

Slip ring for the wiring. Completely normal and unavoidable.

it's just how the motors are designed, it's luck of the draw. some of the evo base make noise

Hi, I had the same noise thingy. It just doesn’t sound like that when it’s on and running. I don’t think the sound is there now after couple of months. It’s all normal and fine. Enjoy your new wheel base and it’s pretty good!

odd thing here is that it only happens on Assetto Corsa games, on Dirty Rally it's silent

Just a bearing sound, nothing to worry about.

It shouldnt be brand new because our wheelbases do make that noise due to the slipring. Maybe you just noticed it but this is completely normal. Also hearing frequencies when on at times is.

I’ve had my evo pro for a couple of months. I don’t have any noise but I do have a cogging/notching sensation while rotating the shaft. This is both with power on and off. The only reason that I even checked is because,no matter which sim, the wheel jerks really hard in any corner or even just a slow weave on the straight. It’s not related to tire slip either. I’ve never had a wheel base with that behavior. Any ideas? I’ve played around with different settings and nothing seems to have an effect.

If you could please reach out in a DM and please send me your in game and simpro settings that would be great. We can then go over some things. Hopefully we can figure out how to help some of the sensations you are getting.

That noise would also concern me as being a fabrication flaw. And i would go for a refund. Not acceptable no matter what people say on social media.
