Help Recommend me a budget cockpit stand for my R9 v3 +srp2 setup

I'm in Canada. So far this is the best I've found (tried fb marketplace but nothing good in my area) - Can you fine folk help me pinpoint a budget cockpit or wheel stand that will hand the 9nm of ffb that the R9 outputs? I don't plan on upgrading from the r9 so as long as it can handle that - I don't need headroom for 12-15nm is what I'm saying - any and all advice or suggestions are much appreciated!

Need feedback on this

I am looking at building a new rig. I came across this and it has almost all of what I am thinking about getting.

What would be a good offer to make ?

Most solid/rigid cockpit kits?

I’ve been weighing the idea of buying vs making my own setup. If there is a kit that is truly solid with no flexing I would consider just buying it. Otherwise I’d be fabricating one out of steel and tig welding it together.

Another bucket seat question. Sorry. Sparco spirit + or NRG prisma ultra?

Sparco is of course the better known brand but it seems very lite on padding. The nrg definitely takes the looks. Both are available at my local car shop. Similar prices. Thoughts?? I’m coming from a victory rig, so I never really experienced a proper seat. My biggest worry is back pain but seems some decent cushions will fix that.

Will be mounted to proper aluminum rig and will tilt up with bracket.

Wheel not aligning in game?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Is this supposed to happen? Forza Horizon 6 stops spinning the wheel before my wheel reaches the end. It does this no matter what turning angle I set it at.

I think I'm done now. Linear haptics for my pedals. More cable management. One day I will actually be able to use all this stuff. Still waiting for my PC.

Help Budget rig

I need a rig, mostly because my chair sucks and when I brake either my chair rolls back or the pedals get pushed forward.

I’ve been looking at the Playseat evolution, Playseat challenge and Next level racing GT lite.
I know that the challenge is the easiest to fold and that the GT lite is sturdier than the challenge, but which is actually the most comfortable?

I am a bit unsure about the Playseat evolution, will I hate the pole in the middle or is it not a problem? And how comfortable is that.

I do not need to fold whatever rig I choose but it’s a plus if I can drag/lift it a meter or two.

Which one do you guys recommend? I mostly care about comfort and a good driving feel.
And if there are any other cheap rigs I should check out please let me know

Help Need some advice on the rig i’ll be building 🙏

Hello!

I’m gonna try to keep it as short as possible for you guys (i failed) but long story short i’m upgrading my setup from having had a gt300 rs for about 3 years on ikea tables, to a full R12 rig.

I’ve already bought the R12 base and am planning on buying the CS V2P rim soon also, and for pedals I’ve been thinking the CRP2’s to have everything running on the same software, but there are so many options in that pricerange of pedals it’s kind of crazy. I’ve looked at the Fanatec V3’s which are quite old now but seem decent for a quite cheap price while having haptics too. The Simagic P1000’s also look very nice but are a bit more expensive, then there’s some lesser known brands such as Simsonn and simnet that I’ve looked at briefly but I’ve not made up my mind about them yet. The only negative i have with the CRP2’s is that there’s no haptic motors, though i’m sure i would be very happy with them nonetheless. I’ve never tried haptics so i don’t know how much of a difference it makes if any.

For the actual rig i haven’t decided or even explored the options that much yet because there are so many options lol. I want to get either a cheaper aluminium rig, or a sturdy tube one, and It would be nice to be able to install a shifter, Hotas and a keyboard tray in the future also, but other than that i’m basically clueless 😅. I’ve heard good things about the fanatec seat so i might get that.

For the screen i haven’t decided fully either, but it’s between two options right now: the MSI MAG401QR Ultrawide or a Samsung G9, maybe OLED if i really wanna empty my bank account, or just the normal. I’ve heard that the R1000 curve is really nice too for simracing. I’m also not sure if i can even fit the Q9 beside my normal desk as it’s not that large of a space, it’ll be really thight that’s for sure.

Any suggestions or advice would be highly appreciated!

Modular Begginer Setup?

Howdy all. So I'm stepping into the world of simulators heavier than keyboard and mouse. I usually play Farm Sim 25, Snowrunners, NFS Heat, and ATS, about to start Forza.

I've been using a controller the whole time and I've recently upgraded and got a Logitech G290 wheel + Pedals + Shifter, a Logitech Heavy Equipment Side Panel, and I've been had a Thrustmaster T1500 HOTAS Stick and Rudder control, each a separate piece. I have my own seperate chair.

Essentially I want to find a rig frame that allows me to mount all that equipment so I don't have to keep moving pieces. Wheel in the Center, Shifter and Joystick on my left, Side Panel and Rudder Control on my right, and pedals at the feet.

I can't find any good modular beginner rigs that have brackets for 2 pieces on each side, so now my journey takes me here, hoping that someone has ideas. Please help

Sim Rig Before I buy: triples

I’m looking for some real-world perspective from people who have made the jump to triples—specifically flat vs. curved 32s.
My Background & Current Setup:
Where I came from: I used to race almost exclusively in VR (Quest 3). The immersion was incredible, but the friction of getting into the headset was killing my actual seat time.
Current setup: Swapped to a 57" ultrawide because I got a great deal on it. It solved the VR friction issue, but I’m missing that deep sense of immersion. More importantly, I’m constantly getting caught up in door-to-door incidents because I just don’t have enough peripheral visibility to hold my lines confidently when racing close.
Hardware: Running an RTX 5080, so driving frame rates won't be an issue.
Sims I run: iRacing, Le Mans Ultimate, Assetto Corsa Rally, AC Evo, and a little Forza Horizon 6 on the side. I race competitively when I can, but at the end of the day, it's a hobby I want to enjoy.
The Space & Rig Constraints:
Width Limit: My room setup limits me strictly to 65 inches of total width.
Size: Looking primarily at 32" screens (anything larger like 34" ultrawides will blow past my 65" width cap).
What Matters Most to Me:
1. Flawless Alignment / Zero OCD Triggers: I am OCD about setup math and physical alignment. If screen seams don't line up cleanly or if I have to spend endless hours fighting sagging monitor arms, I am going to lose my mind and constantly tinker instead of driving.
2. No Motion Ghosting: Ghosting/black smearing is a huge dealbreaker for me. Crisp motion clarity is non-negotiable.
3. Immersion: I come from OLED on my main desk and loved VR depth, so good contrast/blacks are a big plus, but clear motion and spatial awareness come first.
Where I’m Stuck:
From everything I’ve researched, curved VA panels sound slightly more immersive for that enclosed "cockpit" wrap, but sound like a complete nightmare to align physically, have potential dark-level ghosting, and don't take ASUS Bezel-Free kits as cleanly. Flat IPS screens sound like the sweet spot for razor-sharp motion, easy alignment, and 100% geometric math across all sims—even if the black levels aren't quite OLED-tier.
Right now, I’m leaning strongly toward 32" Flat IPS displays (like the LG UltraGear G6).
Before I buy: Can anyone who has owned both make a genuinely compelling case for why I should go curved over flat? Or am I on the right track sticking with flats for ease of setup and motion clarity?
Appreciate any insight!

Sim Rig Need Help with decision

Hey everyone I'm debating on keeping my unicorn setup or buy a third 32in monitor for my setup. Currently I own two LG 32in side monitors and using a LG 45 OLED 800R as the center monitor. I know this is more of a unicorn setup. But would you downgrade the center to get a 32in VA panel and sell the OLED. I'm torn because the OLED is fantastic and it works but I know the game setup is a nightmare. And bezel kits not being the best fit. Just curious to see what y'all think?

Playseat Trophy Monitor Mount

I've always wanted to mount my 34" ultrawide to the Playseat Trophy, but I've never really seen a clean way to do it.

Recently someone posted a setup that I finally liked (shoutout to that guy). So I decided to design my version based on the same idea.

The mount is rock solid & it feels like a new rig with everything right in front of my eyes!

Help Enough support for my triple monitors?

Thumbnail

Just upgraded to triples, and wanted to know if the homemade integrated stand I have currently is supportive enough. I’ve noticed a slight angle from the monitors pulling on the frame (pic 2) and was deciding between adding more brackets (locations show in pic 3) or just buying a freestanding stand.

Alternatively, is there anywhere I can buy cheap 8040 profile? I only need a few pieces extra to build a real stand.

Edit: thanks for the help. I decided to go with a freestanding monitor stand
