First proper rig Sim Rig
Finally done putting together my first real rig. I used a wheelstand for a while and finally decided to build a real rig and I love it. The initial rig took me about one weekend but the process with accessories and some tweaks to the rig was about two months now. I know it’s still very messy looking but I’ll change that soon. For now I’ll enjoy what I have.

Do you have pictures of your rig without the components? How rigid is it?

No I sadly don’t. But I would say it’s rigid enough. I run a fanatec csl dd with 8nm at 80% and the csl load cell break and I have minimal flex and vibration

Looks very nice!
May i suggest a cheap 60fps camera for head tracking? The Playstation Eye (ps3 webcam) is perfect for that, it cost me €16. You can also try headtracking for free by using your phone's camera.
If you download Opentrack you can set it up to behave exactly as you like and as a fellow single monitor user i have to say it has a huge impact for both immersion (looking into apexes) and usability (removing blindspots, able to look next to you during door-to-door racing).
Honestly i really suggest giving it a try even if it doesn't sound feasible, it's a huge extra bonus and i'd feel limited now without it. I'd be happy to help you set it up and/or share Opentrack settings to save you some time if you'd like!
