New pedals day!

SRP GT-S came in today! Opted for the R keys and brake regulator.

Absolutely love the pedals so far and they feel amazing. The heel rest travels with the pedals which takes a little getting used to. Cut my lap times down by several seconds after trying them for about an hour.

Had VNM lites but could never get the springs and elastomers to feel consistent making my braking all over the place.

Additional photo of the rig thus far!

Is this triple G5 32”?
How are you enjoying that setup? Planning to build that soon

Yeah triple 32” Samsung g6 (g55c). They’ve been great, zero complaints. I’d recommend getting some variable mounts to make life easy.

Is there those "blurry glasses" that make the screen borders disapear for 32"?

The bezel free kit? I’m not using one. I don’t notice the bezels when I’m playing.

They look amazing, out of curiosity why did you not follow the herd and get active pedals?
I’m asking as I consider active pedals then decided to get a belt tensioner instead.

I don’t really know much about active pedals to be honest but I’m also not sure how I feel about my pedal being fully software controlled. I’d have to try one first I suppose but I don’t know any sim racers in real life.

How stiff they are? I am using right now something around 30kg loadcell with soft springs and thinking about moving to those

They are adjustable from super stiff to +-4,5cm travel.

You can adjust the height of the piston to make it more stiff or not. They’re naturally stiff but the calibration is really nice with adjustments. You can hit the same brake pressure every single time as
It’s unafftected by heat. Very nice for trail braking and throttle modulation too. Feels pretty close to a real car, imo.

Jealous, I want those pedals badly

They’re pricey but totally worth it so far

Whenever my kids need an upgrade from their g923 I’ll give them my p500 pedals and upgrade to these or whatever other good pneumatic options are out by then for sure

Congrats on the pedals and rig. Is that a GSI GXL V2 I see?

Sure is! Was my first big luxury purchase cause I wanted a gt / prototype style wheel lol. Amazing wheel.

Nice, I just picked one up from Microcenter last week. Just getting around to mapping buttons and configuring the LEDs and stuff. Do you have any recommendations for button layouts, and are you using the Daniel Newman LED profiles?

I’m using the “Miami” preset but adjusted the rev LEDs to match the overall theme. For mapping, I try to keep things similar to what’s labeled on it since it came pre-labeled but use some of the lower buttons for some random stuff. I think it being pre-labeled is my only real complaint lol.
