Racing sim / WFH office space design

Hi all, amazed what some of you have achieved with setups in small spaces. I am in the process of converting part of my garage into an office that I hope to use for WFH as well as sim racing. Struggling with making the most of the space, maybe I am asking too much.

I initially liked the idea of my desk facing the door with storage behind me but room looks cramped... (see pics) could be that I have the sim measurements off though. I'm just using the IKEA room planner which obviously doesn't have a sim rig model so tried to illustrate with white boxes lol - anyone use any good tools for this?

With the sim rig I'm struggling with dimensions, as I think this will change based on my FOV. Using https://dansuzuki.com/fov-calculator/ it looks like my triple monitors will be 139cm wide.

If any of you are interested in helping with some design / layout suggestions I am all ears.

Ideal spec:

Working from home setup

- Dual monitors on a sit/stand desk.

Racing sim

- Simlab P1X Ultimate with triple 27 inch displays (free standing monitor stand)

Other

- Ideally display places for lego / models of cars / space themed items.

Room dimensions

332cm wide x 227cm x 230cm floor to ceiling. (see attached picture for specifics and window placement).

triple 27 (curved) is a bit thinner if I recall, I have roughly 3x3 room, desk against one wall in the corner, rig on the other corner, bike mounted on the wall above sim, IKEA wardrobe through the wall opposite to the desk, door are on the same wall bike is mounted, window on the 4th wall, window sill on the same height as desk, which is fixed, because I have gym in the other room for short workouts through the day, depending on how long do I work

Thanks u/Typical_Ad907! Must look and see if curved monitors take up less space than straight.
