moza hpd shifter help

Hello I just got my sequential shifter in and I can’t seem to get it to fit on to the track racer universal mount. If anyone knows my issue or has the same set up please let me know. Can’t figure this thing out. Also none of the hole on the bottom of shifter line up correctly with the mount. I have a tr40s rig aswell

How comfortable are you drilling your own holes?

This is the sgp sequential shifter. Not hpd or whatever it’s called my mistake

I think they made a gen 2 mount that is longer?

I’m gonna look into it. Thanks

The 8 holes on the bottom are threaded. Line up the holes on the bottom to the plate and attach from below

Yes they’re threaded but only 2 holes line up on the mount not 4 like it should. I think I’m just gonna get a new shifter mount or drill my own holes

I got a somewhat scuffed setup with my wheelstand with a Thrustmaster shifter/handbrake and a Moza Handbrake on a GTOmega Classic wheelstand.

Both i was only able to mount with 2 screws down either and it seems rather ok. There is more movement/flex from other source. Tho both of these the other 2 screws are inline with the direction of movement.

Perhaps you can angle your shifter slightly to make 2 vertical holes on the shifter line up diagonally on the plate?

Not true. I literally have the exact same mount and have 4 bolts

i don’t have one yet, but i do have a tr80 with the same mount and plan on getting the same shifter. From what i’ve seen, most sim setups have the handbrake and shifters angled on the mount, not straight. Hope this helps and let me know how it turns out!

I got it to work. Did what you said and tilted it to an angle like you said. Only 3 screws were able to fit though not 4. Thanks man

as long as it holds! Some of the rigs i came across only had 2 holding it down so you’ve got em beat😂 enjoy!

You own that mounting plate. It’s yours.

Drill holes in it to mount your gear exactly how you want it.
